Japanese-born, L.A.-based designer, Yuka Izutsu created Atelier Delphine in 2011 to fill the void of elevated, contemporary loungewear she noticed in her own wardrobe. Her loose, fluid silhouettes and luxurious basics are carefully crafted with the highest quality material sourced from Japan, India, Peru, Italy and beyond. Designed to last, Atelier Delphine’s collections fly in the face of fast fashion, favoring styles that are evergreen rather than trend-driven. In Izutsu’s travels, she works with artisans, whose expertise and understanding of these traditional materials inform her own designs and approach to constructing clothing.
