Description

Description:
This mini-Furoshiki is a traditional Japanese wrapping cloth for small gifts or bento boxes. The lovely Kamawanu Furoshikis uses a hand-printed method which allows the design to be viewed on both sides of the cloth. With an autumnal chestnut pattern, your gift will be presented with heart and warmth.

Measurements:
19.25 in. wide X 19.25 in. long

History:
Furoshiki is a traditional Japanese wrapping cloth dating back to the Nara period (710-794 AD). Originally, this cloth was used to wrap valuables. As public bathhouses became more popular, the cloth was used to wrap one’s clothes while taking a Furo, or steam bath. Today, the furoshiki lives on as a wrapping cloth for gifts and bento.

Materials:
100% cotton

Care Instructions:
We recommend hand washing for the first several times to prepare them for eventual machine wash.
