Designer Mizuki Tsurutaka creates these nature inspired earrings in the shape of Magnolia flower petals, also known as “hoonoki” in Japanese.  Made in 18k yellow gold, these petal earrings will hang, sway, and convey the elegance of a summer flower in bloom all year round.

History: 
Mizuki Tsurutaka founded Black Barc in Los Angeles in 2011. Rather than relying on molds, Tsurutaka handcrafts all her work using traditional Japanese blacksmithing techniques and cites nature as the primary inspiration behind her designs. As a result, Black Barc pieces feel timeless, quietly evoking organic, elemental forms found in our surrounding environment. Based in Torrance, Tsurutaka shares her studio with her husband, Yusuke Muramatsu, designer of Prospective Flow.
