History:
Rikucho Ogasawara, the son of a cast iron foundry artisan, began working alongside his father at the age of 16. Inheriting the techniques of Nambu ironware, which dates back to the Edo period, Ogasawara became a pioneer in cast iron craftsmanship, known for his application of traditional production processes to contemporary household products.
