Every aspect of burning incense has been considered with this porcelain burner by Elemense and Hasami Porcelain. Not only is it a beautiful statement piece, but it’s also functional. The lid is sloped so the long slot neatly catches the fallen ash inside to protect your surfaces while the base provides storage for unburned sticks and cones. Designed to accommodate the wide core Elemense incense sticks, the interior brass stick holder included can be oriented in two different ways, concealing or revealing the stick as it burns. Available in matte black or glossy gray. Incense sticks are not included.

History:
The Elemense incense line is created by Nippon Kodo, Japan’s oldest incense company known as the original incense makers for the Emperor of Japan.

Hasami Porcelain is designed by Tortoise co-owner Taku Shinomoto and crafted in Hasami, Japan.

Variation:
Due to the organic nature of this type of porcelainware, there are unavoidable variations in glaze application and color. These variations are the result of uncontrollable chemical reactions between the glaze and the raw materials during the extreme firing process.

Returns must be made within 2 weeks in original, unused condition with all packaging for either 1. Store credit for the full amount or 2. Refund – minus a 20% restocking fee.  Tortoise does not cover the cost of return shipping or the cost of re-shipping an exchange, and the cost of shipping for returns and exchanges is the responsibility of the customer.
